Workshop
*The Nuclear Science Merit Badge workshop that is on Feb. 28, 2009 is full! The next time Creighton will offer this will be next year (2010).*
A Nuclear Science Merit Badge Workshop will be held on Saturday, February 28, at the Physics Department at Creighton University. Scouts can complete the merit badge at the workshop. There is no charge. (This workshop is supported by the Creighton Physics Department, the Contemporary Physics Education Project and the US Department of Energy’s Office of Science.) Requirements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5c, 5g, 5j, 6c, and 7 will be covered.
*Scouts should sign in in front of room G59 in the Hixson-Lied building at 8:30 am, February 28. Maps can be found at http://www2.creighton.edu/maps/. Parking is available in the student lot located across Burt Street from the Hixson-Lied Building. A pizza lunch will be provided. Scouts should be finished by about 1:00 pm.
