Safety Training

The Annual physics lab safety training will be held on Tuesday August 25th.

Anyone who works in a lab (or teaches in a lab) is required to go through this training each year.   If you cannot be present at this training session, you are required to make arrangements to complete the training on your own before you may work in a lab.   (Those working in computer-only labs do not need to complete this training.)  If you have any question about whether you need training please check with me and/or your research supervisor.

Field Day 2009

This spring, the Creighton University Society of Physics Students (CUSPS) will again sponsor Physics Field Day, a day of activities and excitement for high school students. The theme of the 2009 Physics Field Day is “Space Physics as Portrayed in Film.“  The rulebook can be found here.

The day is filled with competitions that require understanding and application of basic physical principles. We in the CUSPS believe that physics can be enjoyed in a hands-on, competitive spirit. There is an event for everyone!
